SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video or image encoding. Disclosed is a mutual prediction method, which includes: determining a plurality of first image blocks in an image block to be processed based on a preset image partitioning width, preset height of splitting images and width and height of image block to be processed; separately performing bidirectional prediction of optical flows for a plurality of first image blocks in order to obtain a predictor of each first image block; and obtaining a predictor of the image block to be processed with a combination of predictors of a plurality of first image blocks. Equipment includes a determination module, a prediction module, and a combination module.
EFFECT: reduced complexity of mutual prediction and higher efficiency of processing.
