FIELD: medicine; oncogynecology.
SUBSTANCE: laparoscopic surgery is performed under conditions of carboxyperitoneum for cervical cancer, wherein a traction suture is applied to the uterine fundus, which is used to create an exposure; when the uterus with the neck and parametria are fixed only by the vaginal tube mobilized throughout the upper half of its length, the suture material Vicryl 1–0 Ethicon W9431 is introduced through 5 mm trocar into the abdominal cavity, which is used to ligate the vagina in a circular manner, above the expected cutoff level, knots are tied extracorporeally. After cutting off the preparation below the suture level, the preparation is ablastically removed from the abdominal cavity through the vagina.
EFFECT: method enables to perform all stages of the operation, as well as cutting off and removing the preparation from the abdominal cavity with preserving complete isolation of the cervical tumor from other tissues and organs of the abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal space, which increases the overall and recurrence-free survival rate of the patients.
