FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to contactless current sensors used in switchgear as a signal source for protection devices when determining values of currents in power transmission lines in order to detect the fact of an emergency situation, as well as determination of single-phase ground faults in power distribution networks. Non-contact current sensor comprises an insulated closed magnetic circuit and a winding. Magnetic conductor is made in the form of a pack of tapes made from material with high magnetic permeability and attached to each other by means of a tube from heat-shrinkable plastic. Magnetic conductor is made of rectangular shape, and connection of magnetic conductor ends is carried out by means of comb connection, in which the tapes of the first end of the magnetic conductor enter the gaps between the tapes of the second end of the magnetic conductor. Length of the overlap of the tapes of the first and second ends of the magnetic conductor is at least one width of the package of tapes. Connection is retained by means of a tube from heat-shrinkable material. Winding is made on the magnetic conductor side opposite to the magnetic conductor first and second ends connection side, and on the inner surface of the magnetic conductor, at the center of the side on which there is a connection of its ends and at the center of the opposite side on which the winding is made, at least two flat elements from dielectric elastic material are fixed.
EFFECT: improving reliability and reducing weight and size characteristics.
