FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: double-hinged device for folding the butt, which contains two loops with cylinders located vertically in them, hingedly connected by axes and a lever in which a plate is horizontally fixed. Plate is made with possibility of engagement with cylinders when hinges are closed. In the lower parts of the cylinders there are blind holes in which there are springs providing the possibility of vertical movement of the cylinders within the structurally specified limits.
EFFECT: safe use of the butt folding device, ensuring stiffness and compactness of the joint.
