FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of affecting boundary layer of fluid flow in channels. Air intake of air-jet engine comprises wedge 1, variable-geometry shell 2, boundary layer drain system 5, air intake throat 6 and a subsonic section in the form of flat diffuser 7 with two diverging surfaces 8 and 9, containing slots 10 and 11 for suction of the boundary layer, equipped with at least one vacuum chamber 12 with cylinder 13 located in the inner cavity, installed with possibility of rotation, formed by parallel walls 15 and 16, part of cylinder surface, front wall 17 and rear perforated partition 18, connected through holes 19 and 20 of perforation with slots for suction of boundary layer, wherein each row of slots is provided with its channel 21 and 22 and its individual total perforation area, wherein the front wall adjoins at angle of 3…5° to the cylinder tangent with a gap to form flat nozzle 23, rear perforated partition additionally comprises labyrinth seal 24 on the side of the flow part of the diffuser, the opening angle of the diffuser, starting from throat 6 of the air intake to the tangent to the generatrix of cylinder 13, is 5…8°.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing the length of the section with the subsonic diffuser at low total pressure losses.
