FIELD: motors and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: supersonic intake relates to jet engine supersonic intakes in supersonic aircrafts. The supersonic intake contains wedge bar for intake air compression having breaking surfaces arranged in series and adjacent to each other in cross-wise direction. The supersonic intake also includes box-like channel formed by the part of breaking surfaces, side walls and shell ring with dihedral angles along cross joints of the above surfaces. The air intake includes convergent section from inlet section to the neck, the neck itself and diffusion section. Wedge bar breaking surfaces in the channel contain movable panels adjusting cross section area of the neck. The intake is realized as at least one contraction wedge bar arranged crosswise and in V-shape along all channel sections. It is located so that adjacent wedge bar breaking surfaces adjoin each other in longitudinal direction creating dihedral angle less than 180°. Each V-shape wedge bar breaking surface includes serial movable panels installed so that they can be displaced and/or rotated. In parallel with the neck cross section adjustment, the rotation of breaking surface may ensure formation of longitudinal slots with the adjustable cross dimensions along dihedral angle edges along both panels' joints and panel to side walls joints. Together with longitudinal slots between serial movable panels, adjustable transverse slots are formed.

EFFECT: improvement of supersonic intake efficiency and adjustment possibilities in startup and on-line modes.
