SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery. Seroma cavity is punctured and serous fluid is evacuated. After evacuation of serous fluid, 2.0 to 10.0 ml of 10% betadine solution is introduced into the seroma cavity. In case of accumulation of large amount of serous fluid, from 100 ml to 500 ml, introduction of 10% betadine into seroma cavity is repeated daily until amount of serous fluid is reduced to 10.0 ml. In case of serous fluid accumulation in small amount, up to 100 ml, introduction of 10% betadine solution into seroma cavity is repeated two days later until serous fluid accumulation ceases.

EFFECT: method enables to create conditions for reducing the length of lymphatic fluid production in the area of the surgical wound, to reduce the total time of postoperative wound healing after radical mastectomy, breast reconstruction with an implant.
