FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely, to an application of hydroxyethyl dimethyl dihydropyrimidine in the amount of 0.5 g 4 times a day in order to optimise the survival of a silicone implant after reconstructive-reparative breast surgery, and also relates to a method for optimising the survival of a silicone implant after reconstructive-reparative breast surgery by administering medication, characterised by administering hydroxyethyl dimethyl dihydropyrimidine orally in the amount of 0.5 g 4 times a day before meals in the preoperative period a day before surgical treatment and in the postoperative period from day 1 to day 8 after reconstructive-reparative breast surgery using a silicone implant.
EFFECT: reduced inflammatory response due to the membrane-stabilising antioxidant effect, higher immune response to surgical aggression, and stimulation of regenerative processes, leading to the prevention of pathological course of the wound process and early postoperative complications.
