FIELD: rocket propulsion systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket propulsion systems and is intended for use as a transformable multi-vector multi-matrix system (MMPS) of small-size spacecraft. MMPS comprises a plurality of symmetrical pairs of semi-cylindrical MHD substrates with a wavy outer surface sequentially arranged one inside another, ends of which are connected to each other through guide holes of the docking panel by tightening rods combined with controlled pyrotechnic microcharges, which perform reconfiguration of the formed multilayer cylinder-shaped propulsion structure with wavy outer surface. Controlling values and direction of rods, sampling of motor matrices and their separation is carried out using three decoders of rows, columns and data, three commutators of motor cells, sampling of motor matrices and separation of spent motor matrices, address generators of activated igniters of motor cells, memory units of spent and alternative code combinations, controller.
EFFECT: possibility of purposeful reconfiguration of a propulsion system consisting of more than two embedded multi-vector motor matrices with programmable traction and energy characteristics of motor cells.
