FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling of oil and gas wells, namely to reagents for controlling properties of water-based drilling fluids. Complex action reagent for water-based drilling fluids contains the following, wt.%: tall oil 20–25; soya bean oil 20–25; alkali 3–6; oxal flotation reagent 15–20; soya bean oil diethanolamide 2–2.5; oxyethylated fatty alcohols with ten moles of ethylene oxide 2–5; monoethanolamine 0.5–1; diethylene glycol 12–14; ethyl alcohol 9–11. Complex action reagent for water-based drilling fluids is obtained by mixing tall oil, soya bean oil, oxal flotation reagent, oxyethylated fatty alcohols with ten moles of ethylene oxide, alkali, ethyl alcohol at temperature of 55–60 °C for 4 hours, followed by adding soya bean oil and monoethanolamine to the mixture of diethanolamide and heating to 60–70 °C with constant stirring for 5 hours.

EFFECT: improved lubricating, anti-seize additive and surface-active properties of water-based clay and clay-free drilling fluids.
