FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to fastening mechanisms used in assembly tools, such as assembled buckets, used in excavation, mining, construction, etc. equipment. Retainer for a worn-out element of a working member of an excavating machine comprises a drive part, which forms an outer diameter of the drive part, and a mounting part which forms a groove for installation of an eye lug, which partially passes through the eye lug installation part, forming the first side panel, the second side panel and the gripping surface connecting the first side panel with the second side panel, and the skirt. Skirt at least partially forms the first side wall, the second side wall and the gripping surface. Skirt has an outer diameter which is greater than the outer diameter of the drive part. At that, drive part additionally includes key with hook, which extends from the drive part in the radial direction so that it is spaced from the skirt at a minimum distance to form a passage configured to receive the wear element ring.
EFFECT: reduced probability of fixator overturning or jamming in worn-out element.
