FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a pre-coated steel sheet for hot pressing and a method for production thereof, as well as to a hot-pressed steel part and use in vehicles. In the pre-coated steel sheet, the thickness of the pre-coating made on at least one surface of the base steel is 5–19 mcm. Corresponding roughness of the surface of the preliminary coating is determined depending on the thickness of the coating. Coated hot-pressed steel part has high surface roughness Ra≥1.80 mcm.
EFFECT: obtained part has low weight, high surface roughness, good paint adhesion and corrosion resistance of paint.
