FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to relay protection and automation of high-voltage power lines. In the known method, non-recursive filtration of the measured voltage on the disconnected phase is additionally performed, calculating inverse values of duration of time intervals between transitions through zero values of signal extracted by means of non-recursive filtering of measured voltage on disconnected phase, determining the increments of each newly calculated value of the inverse duration of the time interval between the transitions through the zero values of the signal selected by non-recursive filtering of the measured voltage on the disconnected phase, values of the determined increments and values of the signal extracted by non-recursive filtration of the measured voltage at the switched off phase are monitored. Objective is also achieved by the fact that the device implementing the method further comprises a non-recursive filtration unit, unit for calculating values inverse of duration of time intervals between transitions through zero signal values, unit for determining increments of calculated values inverse of duration of time intervals between transitions through zero signal values, input of non-recursive filtration unit is connected to output of voltage measurement unit, output of the non-recursive filtering unit is connected to the input of the first threshold element and to the input of the unit for calculating the inverse of the duration of the time intervals between transitions through the zero signal values, input of unit for determining increments of calculated values of inverse duration of time intervals between transitions through zero signal values is connected to output of unit for calculating inverse durations of time intervals between transitions through zero signal values, output of the unit for determining increments of calculated values of inverse duration of time intervals between transitions through zero signal values is connected to the input of the second threshold element.

EFFECT: increased reliability of electric arc extinction at power transmission line with shunt reactors switched off in cycle of single-phase automatic reclosing.
