FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device and a method for diagnosing parameters of laser control channel (LCC) of sighting systems. Device comprises a collimator, a bracket for mounting on an object, connecting and data cables, an external computer. Collimator comprises a housing with a window for a lens and with connecting connectors and a power switch, lens with variable focal distance, consisting of fixed lens and movable lens with electric drive, two spectrum-dividing mirrors, matrix sensor with lens, horizontal and vertical linear sensor, and also comprises an electronics unit, which includes a power board, an image forming board, an operating mode controller, a data transmission board. To control parameters of LCC, preliminary adjustment is performed, which consists in alignment of optical axes of lens and LCC of sighting system, then performing the measurement process, comparing the moments of appearance and disappearance of the image, its brightness, dimensions and position with a given time cyclogram of the operation of the LCC and established standard values.
EFFECT: providing automated measurement of control field characteristics and time parameters of LCC cyclogram, as well as assessment of compliance of the obtained results with the established standards during standard idle operation of the monitored product without the need to connect to the monitored product and stop the start-up cyclogram.
