FIELD: aviation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). VTOL UAV comprises fuselage (1) with nose, tail and mid section, electric motors (9) with drive shafts (10) arranged at fuselage mid section. Drive shafts (10) are kinematically connected to axes of fans (4) through reduction gears (11). Fans (4) installed in middle part of fuselage (1) have possibility to create fluid medium flow from hole in upper part of fuselage in direction from fuselage to sides. Wings (2) closed at ends by fairings (3) are made so that lifting force is created by fluid medium flow in direction from fuselage to sides. Wings (2) are connected to shafts (13) of motors (12) for rotation of wings (2) relative to axis of shafts (13). Internal combustion engine (20) is connected to electric current generator (21). UAV has engine-propeller combinations (6) with drives (7) mounted on rods (5) for pitch, yaw and roll control in all flight modes.

EFFECT: higher load capacity and increased range of UAV.
