SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processes of thermal treatment of loose grain material and can be used in agriculture when processing grain into flour or groats. Grain heating device comprises shaft with inlet and outlet pipelines and electromagnetic treatment sources arranged in tiers. At that, the shaft is made of dielectric material, the electromagnetic treatment sources are made in the form of a point-plane type electrode system with a high voltage generator, wherein the point-type electrode is located perpendicular to the direction of grain movement, and the plane-type electrode is installed in the shaft on its side surface parallel to the grain movement and has a perforated surface, and the shaft in the area of the electrode of the plane type has a perforated structure, and a diaphragm is installed after the inlet pipeline to control the flow of grain in the shaft. Device can include two or more shafts arranged in series or in parallel.

EFFECT: invention ensures reduction of energy consumption for grain heating.
