FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radioelectronic, electrical engineering and instrument-making industry, namely to devices for preparation for installation of electric radioelements (ERE). Device for forming leads of electric radio elements includes two working parts pivotally connected and fixed as pincers with jaws having working crimping surfaces and a cutting device on the upper jaw. Working parts are equipped with spring retainers for quick change of jaws. Upper jaw consists of a housing and a cover, with two elastic elements installed inside the housing, each of which is located between the pressure plate and the forming element. Cover has adjusting screws in contact with the pressure plates. Lower jaw has a lodgement made according to the shape of the housing of the electric radio element and the required shape of its leads. Adjustment screw is installed in the lower jaw, which regulates the size of the gap of jaw convergence.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of using one tool for different types of EREs due to replaceable quick-mounted sets of jaws, with lodgments for specific types of ERE and adjusted according to required force for forming of leads of these ERE, as well as combination of hand tool and quality of forming die of ERE leads with spring-loaded moulding punches.
