FIELD: glass industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of a glass melting furnace. Glass melting furnace comprises melting tanks including side and end walls, loading windows, glass melting ducts, arches with burners, smoke removal riser and bubbling nozzles. Loading windows are located in one of the side walls of each melting tank. Channels are located at the bottom of each melting tank. Bubbling nozzles are located at the point of intersection of the axes of the tanks, on the extension of the axes with distance of 0.25 of the width of the tank, on the axes of the tanks, opposite the loading windows. At the same time extreme blocks of vaults are joined and form entrance to smoke removal riser in the form of equilateral triangle with side of 0.8–1.2 of tank width.
EFFECT: melting glass from fiber glass and fiberglass wastes, saving raw materials.
