METHOD FOR ANALYZING PATIENT'S MOTOR RESPONSE Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B5/00 A61B5/16 A61B5/103 A61B5/11

Abstract RU 2824718 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: declared invention relates to methods of measuring human parameters for diagnostic purposes, namely to a method for analysing diagnostic parameters for psychiatric rehabilitation and diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases associated with the motor sphere. Diagnostic parameters for psychiatric rehabilitation and diagnostics of neurodegenerative diseases associated with the motor sphere are analysed, including placing a patient in front of a computer monitor, presenting a stimulus on a computer monitor, moving the stimulus on the computer monitor. Patient is presented with different categories of stimuli, which are associated with different motor responses, a prompt is presented to the patient and an imperative signal is presented after a variable interval of reaction preparation time, after which the patient responds by means of a touch screen. As an imperative signal, a stimulus of the same sensory modality as the prompt can be presented. Presence of a reaction, premature reactions, time and accuracy of the reaction are recorded by means of a touch screen and a video camera; upon completion of the task, data on the category of the stimulus, duration of the preparatory period, presence/absence of reaction, accuracy of reaction, premature reactions and time of correct reaction for each attempt. Obtained data are processed by means of computer, individual values of duration of preparatory period and time of motor response are estimated, patient monitors the stimulus on the display, and thus one or more symptoms of neurodegenerative diseases in the patient are diagnosed.

EFFECT: method provides determination of individual values of duration of preparatory period in tasks of selection of motor reaction.
