Method of determining activity of accounts in a computing environment, in which: obtaining unstructured data on accounts in a computing environment; filtering data using a machine learning model based on a neural network trained based on account event data to be filtered from the total amount of data, during which data on the target event contained in the account action data performed by the account is extracted; performing data processing, as a result of which event description data is structured and normalized; generating an account activity profile based on the obtained data; performing the generated account activity profile transmission to the computing environment security system; based on the generated account activity profile, an account with abnormal behavior is detected.

EFFECT: shorter time required to generate an account activity profile in a computing environment.
