FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a system for behavioral user profiling. Method is carried out on a server and a mobile device and comprises steps of obtaining a user name and password and a mobile device identifier on the server, sending instructions to the mobile device, as a result of which on the mobile device, requesting and receiving from the operating system of the mobile device a list of sensors available on this device, selecting from the obtained list at least one available sensor, cyclically polling at least one selected sensor, wherein the sensor polling is synchronized with at least one synchronization event, storing the primary data returned by the at least one selected sensor, calculating, based on the stored primary data, the secondary data, sending the secondary data to the server, secondary data are obtained and accumulated on the server, clustered, based on the secondary data from at least one selected sensor, accumulated secondary data on the principle of secondary data belonging to one of at least two predetermined scenarios of operation with a mobile device, obtaining at least one cluster of secondary data, for each of the secondary data clusters training the classifier on the data constituting this cluster, storing the trained classifier, marking it as corresponding to the obtained user identifier, obtained mobile device identifier and corresponding mobile device operation scenario.
EFFECT: high accuracy of continuous user authentication throughout the entire user session with the application.
