SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of degassing liquids in oil industry. Invention relates to a method of purifying oil from hydrogen sulphide, which includes feeding oil from a process tank into a stripping column, consisting of a drop separator, a mass exchange and a still section, wherein a drop separator is located in the drop separator section, and in mass exchange section inclined trays with overflow devices are installed. Oil is supplied to the middle part of the drop separator section of the stripping column, nitrogen is generated at the gas-compressor station and supplied to the lower part of the mass-exchange section of the stripping column towards the oil flow, thus carrying out counter-current movement of phases and oil overflow from the tray to the tray along the overflow devices of the trays. Gas mixture obtained during oil purification is distilled from the upper part of the drop separator section of the stripping column and sent to the heat-generating device, and oil from the bottom part of the bottom section of the stripping column is pumped into a buffer tank for stabilization and uniform supply to the mixer, thereto hydrogen sulphide neutralizer reagent is fed and oil is transported to the stockpile.

EFFECT: reduction of hydrogen sulphide in oil without using chemical reagents.
