FIELD: additive manufacturing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to additive manufacturing, particularly, to production of helicopter landing gear unit torque link part blank by selective laser fusion (SLF). Part is manufactured using powder of titanium alloy BT6 with fraction of up to 50 mcm, consisting of not less than 70.0% of particles with size from 22 to 50 mcm of rounded shape. Selective laser fusion of titanium alloy powder is carried out at laser radiation power from 245 to 275 W, scanning speed from 785 to 815 mm/s, scanning pitch from 0.11 to 0.14 mm and layer thickness from 30 to 50 mcm to obtain a part. Obtained part is subjected to thermal treatment in a vacuum furnace at temperature of 800 °C in vacuum of 0.10–0.01 Pa for 2 hours, then chemical polishing is carried out using 10% solution of hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid at solution temperature of 25 °C.

EFFECT: providing low level of residual stresses, improving mechanical characteristics and accuracy of the product.
