FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measuring deformations of soils interacting with bored piles. Device for measurement of shear deformations of soil relative to side surface of bored pile includes a housing having a side window, and a sensitive element placed in the housing. Sensitive element is made in the form of a fiber-optic cable laid over the entire height of the housing in a guide fixed in the housing. Housing has height equal to length of bored pile, and semicircular shape in cross section. Side window covers the entire height of the housing and is equipped with a sliding cover connected to a flexible shutter placed between the sensitive element and the sliding cover.

EFFECT: providing simultaneous measurement of shear deformations of soil relative to side surface of long bored piles at several levels along its entire length, high accuracy and reliability of measurement results, simple design of the device and its use.
