FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, in particular to methods of hydrocarbon production by water displacement. Disclosed is a method of developing an oil deposit, which includes cyclic pumping of a working agent through injection wells, and extraction of products through production wells. At that pumping of working agent into injection wells is performed with periodicity and duration depending on water cut of production from production wells. Initial water saturation of production in production wells is preliminary determined. Pumping of working agent is performed in volume of 1.2 of produced product volume from production wells to injection wells during 14 calendar days and idle time of injection well during 2 days with further repetition of the above pumping cycle. During the process, water cut of production wells is monitored and when a certain value of water cut is achieved, injection is stopped for a period of up to two months, during which water cut of production from production wells is also monitored, and when this water cut drops to the corresponding value, injection is resumed in accordance with above said cycle. At that, initial water saturation is already taken to be the value that was determined after 2 months of inactivity of injection.
EFFECT: increased oil recovery factor due to more uniform distribution of displacement agent in the formation and movement of displacement front.
