FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: assault cartridge box for automatic firearms comprises a body, a unit for connection of a cartridge box with a weapon bracket, which is connected to the upper side of the cartridge box. Connection unit is connected to upper side by means of extension, made in such a way that the upper side of the housing in the installed position of the box is located at angle of 30 to 50° to the direction of the gun barrel.
EFFECT: wider range of possible grip positions of the front hand on the fore-end of a machine gun while improving the balance of the weapon for standing firing.
