FIELD: removal of snow or ice from roads or road surfaces.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machines for removal of compacted snow and ice from roads and sidewalks. Hinged device comprises frame 1, aggregated with base machine 2, a hydraulic motor with a drive shaft made with a trunnion at the end, wherein trunnion axis is displaced relative to drive shaft axis by 15–25 mm. Device is equipped with two composite shafts arranged in parallel in one vertical plane and secured on frame 1 by upper and lower parts via bearing supports arranged on frame 1. One of the composite shafts is equipped with an axis connected through a spherical hinge and a lever to the bearing cage installed on the trunnion. Device is also equipped with a beam with a cutting element located on it, which is connected through rods and bearing supports to the lower parts of composite shafts with the possibility of transferring the reciprocating or backward plane-parallel movement to the beam.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of device operation due to elimination of sliding friction forces at transfer of power of hydraulic engine to zone of contact of cutting tool with destructible medium, increased reliability of device operation, reduced power consumption of process of destruction of compacted snow and ice.
