FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to use of compounds of general formula (I), where X is selected from the group consisting of H, C1-C6 alkyl, halogen (F, Cl, Br or I); Y is selected from a group comprising nitrogen, N-oxide; Z1, Z2, Zm, where m denotes 1 or 2, independently selected from a group comprising -CH2-CH2- and -CH2-CH2-CH2-; A, Am, where m denotes 1 or 2, independently selected from H, -CH2COOH, -CH2C(O)NH2, -CH2P(O)(OH)2 and ; n is 1 or 2; R1, R2, R3, independently, are H; and/or two adjacent R1, R2, R3 together with two adjacent carbon atoms of the aromatic ring form a six-membered ring; provided that when n denotes 2 and all Z1, Z2, Zm represent -CH2-CH2-, then A is not -CH2COOH, for chromatographic separation of rare-earth elements and/or metals of s-, p- and d-blocks. Invention also relates to a method for chromatographic separation of rare-earth elements and/or metals of s-, p- and d-blocks, to compounds of general formula (Ia).
EFFECT: technical result of invention consists in efficient and fast extraction of rare-earth elements and metals of s-, p- and d-blocks.
