FIELD: rocket science.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention can be used as a steering drive unit in artillery shells with high barrel accelerations during firing. Artillery projectile steering drive unit comprises a body, aerodynamic rudders, on top of which there are shields, one end of which is fixed on the body by screws. At the same time on the side surface of the shields there are grooves, inside which the collars are placed, and on the inner side of the shields there are blind grooves, into which the aerodynamic rudders are placed with their outer edge. At the same time on each shield there is a projection, one of end walls of which passes into end wall of blind slot, and has a slope. Also, on the outer edge of each aerodynamic rudder there is a projection with a beveled end, which is placed in the blind slot of the shield, so that its beveled end face is located on the same side as the single end wall of the projection and the blind slot with a slope. Besides, on each aerodynamic rudder at some distance from the beveled end of the protrusion there is one more protrusion in the form of a truncated cone, so that its protruding angle rests against the flap protrusion. In addition, the other end of the shield is also fixed with screws, which are screwed into the bracket inserted into the slot of the rudder, and the collars placed in the slots of the shields along the entire perimeter have an obturator shape.
EFFECT: task to be solved by present invention is to increase reliability of steering drive unit due to structural changes of some of its elements.
