SUBSTANCE: small arms with double-sided magazine extraction mechanism contains magazine, barrel receiver, magazine shaft housing, magazine extraction button. Magazine shaft housing is attached to breech frame. On the side surface of the shaft housing there is a longitudinal slot which widens to the rear end of the magazine shaft; in the rear part of the magazine shaft there is a hole, the longitudinal axis of which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the magazine shaft housing. In the hole with a gap there is a latch axis with a projection on one end and a thread on the other, a latch is attached to the projection through a hole made on one end of the latch, the latch free part is placed in a longitudinal slot, a spring is put on the other end of the latch axle and a magazine extraction button is attached. Magazine extraction button consists of two parts - a rectangular plate with a rectangular projection and an oval cylindrical part with a hole for placement on the latch axis and a rectangular cutout for alignment with the projection on the plate. In oval cylindrical part there is a hole for connection with magazine latch axis.

EFFECT: possibility to extract magazine with both right and left hands, improvement of operational characteristics of small arms.
