FIELD: ground vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: use – ground vehicles of reverse operation: vehicles with transverse arrangement of engine and transmission, short-wheelbase vehicles with longitudinal transmission, for example, dump trucks, as well as motor graders, bulldozers, rollers, etc. Task: expansion of operating performances of ground vehicles and reduction of weight of gearbox. Essence of the invention: in the front part of the gearbox there is a pair of reverse gears, in the middle part there is a double clutch of switching, consisting of two oppositely deployed clutches.
EFFECT: expanded operating performances of ground vehicles at increased number of reverse gears, eliminated end wear of reverse gears, ruled out massive reverse gear wheel.
