FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sixteen-speed reverse misaligned gearbox. Sixteen-speed gearbox comprises parallel input and output shafts and five pairs of intermeshed gears freely mounted on shafts, three-position clutch for gear shifting. Three-position clutch is located on toothed rim of output shaft and toothed rims of extreme gears. Between the middle pairs of gears there are double clutches of switching. In the front part of the gearbox on the input shaft between the pairs of forward and reverse gears there is a toothed rim, on which the second three-position clutch of switching is located. Driven reverse gear is engaged with extra reverse gear engaged with first pair driven forward gear.
EFFECT: reduction of gearbox metal consumption.
