FIELD: refrigerating equipment; air conditioning.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to refrigeration equipment, and more specifically to household appliances for air conditioning. In the domestic self-contained air conditioner compressor cooling system, the coil outlet is connected through the coil pipeline to the melt water tray located at the level between the melt water collection tank and the compressor and having a drain coil pipe, directing melt water when its set level is reached into the tray located on the upper cover of the compressor and having also a drain branch pipe directing the melt water to the bath located under the lower part of the compressor in such a way that contact is provided between the lower hot part of the compressor casing and the water entering the bath, as well as having a drain branch pipe for discharging excess melt water.
EFFECT: maximum use of heat exchange processes between melt water and oil bath of the compressor and its structural elements to reduce its temperature level and, as a result, increase energy efficiency, reliability and comfort when servicing the air conditioner.
