FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: water heating device comprises a combustion chamber, a burner bracket located in the combustion chamber, a burner located on the burner bracket, and an ignition element located on the burner bracket adjacent to the burner, wherein the ignition element comprises: a bracket connected to the burner bracket; a housing extending through the bracket and partially supported by the bracket; an electrode rod comprising a first portion extending in an up-down direction, wherein the first portion of the electrode rod is inserted into an upper portion of a first cavity formed in the housing; a first electrical wire comprising an end portion inserted into a lower portion of the first cavity and electrically connected to a first portion of the electrode rod; the first tube is made so as to surround the end part of the first electric wire. Ignition element further comprises a flame detection rod comprising a first portion configured to extend in an up-and-down direction, wherein the first portion of the flame detection rod is inserted into the upper portion of a second cavity formed in the housing; a second electrical wire comprising an end portion inserted into the lower portion of the second cavity and electrically connected to the flame detection rod; the second tube is made so that to surround the end part of the second electric wire.

EFFECT: invention ensures operational reliability of the ignition element.
