SUBSTANCE: bedding system comprising an at least substantially rectangular insulating blanket (1) and an at least substantially matching blanket cover (2) with which the blanket is covered. The blanket cover (2) is closed on the first side (3) and open on the opposite side (4) for inserting into the blanket (1). At the first and second corners, or at least close to the first and second corners of the first side (3) of the set, manually releaseable fastening means (10) are provided that connect the blanket (1) to the blanket cover (2) at or near the corners.
