FIELD: agricultural machine building.

SUBSTANCE: digging section of potato harvester contains frame (1), which in front part rests on bed-squeezing support rollers (2), cutting discs (3). Plowshares (4) are fixed in front part of frame (1). Digging section is equipped with web of bar elevator (5), which is driven from tractor power take-off shaft. Digging section comprises shaft (6), reduction gear (7) and drive shafts (8 and 9), on one of which sprocket (10) with chain transmission (11) is fixed, as well as drive shaft (13) with fixed connecting rod (14) and shaker (16) made in the form of V-shaped rocker (17). Bed-squeezing support rollers are made in the form of a drum welded from two hollow truncated cones (20 and 21) and cylindrical part (22) between them, equipped with scrapers (28). Bed-squeezing support rollers are fixed on shaft (23) with bearing supports (24), on housings of which there are installed telescopic posts (25) with screw mechanisms equipped with handles (26). On lateral surfaces of posts (25) control marks (27) are applied. Brackets made in the form of angles (29 and 30), equipped with stepladders (31 and 32) for attachment of bed-squeezing support rollers to the digging section, are rigidly fixed to the posts. Cutting discs (3) are made spherical and are fixed on curved axis (35) by means of bearing supports (36). Axis is equipped with lever (37) and is installed with possibility of rotation in bushing of post (33), and is fixed to sector (34). When turning axis (35), it is possible to change the cutting width of the cutting discs and the angle of their convergence.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of soil separation at bar elevators and prevention of potato damage by digging tools.
