FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to means of increasing soil fertility, and can be used to increase crop capacity when growing maize and sunflower for grain. Method involves adding phosphogypsum and dolomite flour as a gypsum-containing ameliorant taking into account its acidity, followed by embedding into the soil. Phosphogypsum and dolomite flour are used at a weight ratio of 2:1. Mixture is obtained by mixing, and then it is applied by spreading on the soil surface in dose of 2 t/ha in the spring, followed by ploughing the soil to depth of 20-22 cm and seeding to depth of 5-7 cm with a sowing pattern with a row spacing of 70 cm at rate of 20 kg/ha. Harvesting is carried out by combining, followed by drying and storing grain.
EFFECT: method provides higher yield of maize and sunflower due to introduction of gypsum-containing and dolomite-containing products into soil in spring period.
