FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. In the method for sowing grain crops or for planting potatoes, a mixture of mineral fertilizers is used with an application rate of 60 kg/ha AD when applying gypsum-containing and dolomite-containing products at ratio of 2:1 with an application rate of 4 t/ha. Mixture of mineral fertilizers and gypsum-containing and dolomite-containing products is applied in the first decade of May – under cultivation at depth of 12-14 cm using a fertilizer spreader. Sowing of winter wheat is carried out at a seeding rate of 5.5 million units/ha at depth of 4-5 cm using a row method. Sowing of maize is carried out with a seeding rate of 45 thousand pieces/ha at depth of 6-7 cm with a row spacing of 70 cm, and potatoes are planted with cutting ridges at depth of 8-10 cm with a planting rate of 2.8 t/ha.

EFFECT: method ensures increase of soil fertility and productivity on common alkaline black soil when growing maize, winter wheat and potatoes with combined use of mineral and gypsum-dolomite-containing products in the form of fertilizers against the background of their application into soil.
