UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE FOLDING WING MODULAR SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC B64C3/56 B64U10/25 B64U20/50

Abstract RU 2826532 C1

FIELD: aviation equipment; rocketry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates primarily to bearing aerodynamic surfaces of an aircraft and is intended for making and moving bearing aerodynamic surfaces on an unmanned aerial vehicle. Unmanned aerial vehicle unfolding wing modular system includes on the surface of the aircraft in the lowering of the bearing structure, a cartridge with mounting surfaces for the installation of the axes of rotation of the wing spars, an automatic cover with a mechanical lock, wing with a folding mechanism, spacers, a cartridge made with a cavity and with installed baffles limiting the wing movement to the unfolded position, and wing unfolded position locking holes. On the front wall of the cartridge in the cavity there is a mechanical lock for fixing the automatic cover of the unfolded position of the wing, automatic cover is fixed on the cage through hinged joints and is spring-loaded with a leaf spring. Wing consists of two spars, each of which is made with axis of rotation, arranged in corresponding mounting surfaces of cartridge with possibility of their rotation, light aerodynamic panels are arranged on outer surfaces of each spar. Lowering of load-bearing structure is made longer than the length of the cartridge, and provides the necessary movement of the cartridge on the surface of the aircraft.

EFFECT: unmanned aerial vehicle unfolding wing modular system provides operational preparation of product for combat use, and also facilitates the airframe balancing to ensure the possibility of using warheads with different mass-centering characteristics, making the aircraft itself according to the modular layout scheme.
