FIELD: missilery.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocketry, particularly, to missile flight control. Method involves formation of a target image in the visible and infrared spectral regions by means of a double-spectral camera mounted on an unmanned aerial vehicle. Then along the route of the calculated final section of the rocket flight path from the unmanned aerial vehicle there performed is route video shooting of the underlying surface of the Earth and the target with formation of signals of double-spectral images, which are transmitted to the ground receiving and control station. From the obtained frames, a sample of a series of single reference images is formed, which are characteristic for the final flight route of the missile, which are recorded in the memory device of the missile homing head. When the missile approaches the final section of the trajectory, the current images obtained from the two-spectral optical-electronic homing head of the missile are successively compared with the reference images recorded in the memory device of the homing head, thereafter, pitch and yaw angle mismatch signals are generated to control missile flight to target.
EFFECT: high accuracy of missile flight on final section of trajectory with provision of round-the-clock homing.
