FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to process devices for heating and mixing pieces of bitumen with a solvent and anti-corrosion additives, can be used in industry and agriculture when producing anticorrosive bitumen primer for protection of machines and equipment from corrosion. Water jet mixer comprises vertical tank and interconnected with it a gear pump with electric motor. Tank is equipped with heating elements under the bottom, a control panel with a temperature regulator, vertical and horizontal filter elements are installed on the suction line of the pump, shutoff and atmospheric valves, inlet and dispensing valves, water jet nozzle with central and side orifices are installed on the pressure line. Nominal diameter of the nozzle outlet is determined by the formula taking into account the power of the electric motor, the capacity of the pump and the density of the anticorrosive bitumen primer.
EFFECT: intensified dissolution and mixing of bitumen with additives, improved conditions of mixer servicing, increased efficiency of process of anticorrosion bitumen primer preparation.
