SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the forest industry, in particular to the equipment for wood grinding into raw materials for production of wood-mineral composite materials. Disc-flail chipper includes a casing, a loading neck, knife disc (4), a perforated cylinder. Knife disc is connected by pins with flange (7). Bushings (9) are installed on pins, on which round-link chains (11) are fixed. Cylindrical springs (10) are installed between the bushings.
EFFECT: higher quality of crushed wood.
