FIELD: construction; mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, construction, transport construction, hydrotechnical construction, in particular during drilling and blasting preparation of rock mass of border zone of open pits, cuts, trenches, pits, channels to excavation. Method includes drilling of contour wells, placement of explosive charges in them and blasting. Distance between axes of contour wells is determined mathematically depending on parameters of fracturing of rock mass (size of joint, number of systems of cracks, angles of their inclination to plane of delineation), physical and mechanical properties of rocks of rock mass, speed of detonation and mass of explosive charge per 1 m of well.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide stability of formed slopes of ledges and to protect ledges and sides of pits, cuts, trenches, pits, channels from destructive stress waves and seismic explosive waves during blasting of loosening charges in boundary zone, this increases efficiency and safety level of mining and construction works.
