FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, namely to water transport propulsors, and can also be used in ground engineering and aviation. Electrohydrodynamic ejector consists of a water pump and a compressed gas source and comprises a slotted ejector with a built-in discharger of the electric pulse plant. Slotted ejector has fuel mix feed into cavitation cavities formed during discharge as a result of electrohydrodynamic effect, and high-pressure flow of compressed gas source has air supply to mixing chamber through gas ejector. Slotted ejector has a diffuser made in the form of a slot diverging in the direction of working flow movement, operating on the Laval nozzle principle.
EFFECT: increasing thrust of propulsor by expanding working flow in diffuser of slotted ejector, having in section shape of Laval nozzle.
