FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and is intended to transmit application information in short-wave (SW) communication channels. Bit stream is divided into information blocks, the number of bits of which per one exceeds the number of subcarriers for transmission, associating each information block, eliminating the first bit, a unique combination of code elements, selecting an intermediate frequency at which amplitude-keyed oscillations are generated; keying rate is set so that the width of the spectrum of the resultant frequency-shift keyed signal is equal to the frequency band of the tone frequency channel, based on the frequency-shift keyed oscillation, a single-sideband modulation signal is generated on the upper sideband if the first bit of the information unit is equal to one, on the lower side – if it is equal to one zero, when receiving the resultant signal by amplitude detection methods, determining the single-sideband modulation frequency band on which the signal was generated, and generating the first bit of the information block, demodulating the resultant frequency-shift keyed signal, generating the information block, which is transmitted to the recipient of the message.

EFFECT: high rate of transmitting information in SW channels due to aggregation of properties of frequency-shift keyed signals and single-sideband modulation signals.
