FIELD: solar power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method of generating electricity by double-sided photovoltaic panels includes placing a double-sided photovoltaic panel with its rear side coated with a light-reflecting material in front of a snow structure made from compacted snow, with a coating that increases the fraction of reflection of solar radiation energy on the back side of the double-sided photovoltaic panel, and having inclination of 90° up to 105° relative to earth surface, wherein a Fresnel lens secured by hooks on the front side of the panel is mounted on the side of the front part of the double-sided photoelectric panel within the focal distance. Also disclosed is a device for implementing this method.

EFFECT: invention provides increased generation of electric energy and power from double-sided photovoltaic panels by means of achievement of high share of solar radiation energy application for winter period of operation.
