FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building. Vehicle self-locking differential comprises a drive housing with covers, in which coaxially connected to semi-axles semi-axle elements are arranged, having on the outer surface helical grooves of the spiral opposite direction, an odd number of rolling bodies in the form of balls filling at least one closed channel with a chain made in a drive housing, consisting of a working channel containing a working groove opened for immersion of the balls segments into the helical grooves of the semi-axial elements, made in size of diameter of ball of longitudinal return channel, connected by bypass channels made in covers of drive housing. In the covers, a groove is made to the size of the working groove and for the helical grooves of the semi-axial elements in the zone of the bypass channels, characterized by that the outer side of the bypass channels in the longitudinal section is made in the form of a semicircle, and the angle of elevation of the helical grooves of the semi-axial elements relative to their end is 20-50°.
EFFECT: higher reliability and improved differentiating ability of the device.
