SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of making a packaging bag. Packing bags are made from different materials, for example, paper or polymer material. Packing bag (22) has steps: a) provision of web (2) of material, b) bending of web (2) of material along first length of web (2) of material, so that fold (4) is obtained, which divides web (2) of material into first part (6) of web and second web part (8), wherein web parts (6, 8) have first lateral edge (12, 14) respectively and second side edge (16, 18), and side edges (12, 14, 16, 18) extend from fold (4), and c) making flaps (26) on first side edges (12, 14) and flaps (26) on second side edges (16, 18), and connection of valves (26) with cross bottoms (24) open on one side, which form side walls of package (22).
