FIELD: surveillance systems.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surveillance systems intended for continuous monitoring and surveillance of extended surface areas, capable of autonomous operation for a long period of time due to possibility of electric power replenishment during operation. Tethered geographically distributed technical surveillance system has a housing filled with lifting gas in the form of a cone with empennage in the narrow rear part in the form of volumetric keel and stabilizers. Cavity with an air intake in a wide front part and two outlets on the left and right sides of the housing, closed by controlled shutters, passes through the housing. Inside the housing in free space there is an electric motor-generator with two propellers on the rotor shaft. Housing filled with lifting gas is divided into sealed sections, the total volume of which allows lifting into the air a mass equivalent to the weight of all elements of the system. In each section filled with lifting gas there is an air valve connected through a system of air ducts to an air pump and a cylinder for lifting gas. Lifting height is adjusted by increasing or decreasing the lifting gas volume. Housing is located on rotary platform on permanent magnets, to which cable guide with locking device is attached from below. Cable is stretched between the stations and lies on the surface. Under the guide there is a compartment in which: a control, communication and navigation system; storage battery; technical surveillance means. Technical surveillance means used are optical and thermal imaging cameras, a radar station, etc. On top of the housing there is a solar battery and antennae of the radio and space communication system and the antenna of the global positioning system GLONASS.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities and application field of lighter-than-air craft.
