SUBSTANCE: recoilless device for firing cartridge ammunition contains a gun barrel and a launching tube of compensating mass, chargers, an ignition device, a mounting fixture for fixing the device components. Ignition device is made of impact or electric ignition. Shell is accelerated in one direction inside said gun barrel, which is balanced by compensating mass, accelerated in opposite direction inside said launching tube. Compensating mass cartridge comprises a shell case, the outer shape of the latter is characterized by the geometry of half of an elongated rectangle with rounded corners, which includes a part in the form of a rectangular prism and a semi-cylindrical part superimposed on the said part in the form of a prism. Shell shape corresponds to the breech part of the launching tube of the compensating mass.

EFFECT: providing automatic recoilless shooting.
